Terms & Conditions

Simple, fair terms so we can focus on what matters: your learning. By enrolling in English with Shaila's online spoken English classes, you agree to the following.

  1. Course Enrollment

    • Classes are open exclusively to women.
    • Every new learner takes a short Placement Test, so she joins the level that suits her best.
    • Admission is confirmed only after payment of the course fee.
    • Seats are limited, as batches are kept small, and are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • If a course is not suitable for a learner's current level, the instructor may suggest a better-fitting level or, in rare cases, decline admission.

  2. Fees & Payment

    • The monthly fee (₹4,000 per month) is payable in advance, before classes begin.
    • Fees are non-transferable and cannot be shared between learners.
    • Discounts or promotional offers, when announced, are valid only for the specified period.

  3. Refund Policy

    • If a learner withdraws before the first class, a refund may be considered at the instructor's discretion.
    • Once the course has commenced, fees are non-refundable.

  4. Attendance

    • Regular attendance makes all the difference, so please join every class on time.
    • Missed classes are not normally repeated.
    • Where applicable, materials shared during class will be provided.

  5. Online Class Etiquette

    • Join the class on time, from a quiet space, with your camera on.
    • Keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking.
    • Participate actively and respectfully.
    • Recording classes in any form is not allowed without permission.

  6. Learning Materials

    • All course materials, worksheets, presentations, audio recordings, and exercises are the intellectual property of the instructor.
    • They are shared for your personal learning only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written permission.

  7. Student Conduct

    • Be respectful and encouraging to fellow learners. This is a safe, supportive space.
    • Avoid offensive or inappropriate language.
    • Follow the instructor's directions during class.
    • Repeated misconduct may result in removal from the course without a refund.

  8. Results & Progress

    • Every learner's progress depends on regular attendance, participation, practice, and personal effort.
    • We promise patient guidance and plenty of speaking practice, but fluency within a specific period cannot be guaranteed.

  9. Class Schedule Changes

    • The instructor may reschedule or cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances.
    • Any cancelled class will be rescheduled.

  10. Your Privacy

    • Student information will always remain confidential.
    • Contact details are used only for course-related communication.
    • Personal information is never sold or shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

  11. Website Content
